▪️ Stephen’s poker journey began thanks to his father, as they watched the World Series of Poker together on television. One of his earliest poker memories is witnessing Joe Hachem win the WSOP Main Event in 2005;
▪️ Before turning pro, Song briefly attended college. During that time, he funded his poker aspirations by tutoring and teaching chess to elementary school students;
▪️ At age 21, he made the bold move to Las Vegas for the 2017 poker season. Backed by investors, he was able to participate in a wide range of tournaments — a decision that would prove instrumental in shaping his career.
